Handoff is where design falls apart
Design gets handed to engineering. Engineering interprets it. Something drifts: spacing, states, motion, edge cases. Then a round of fixes eats the next sprint, and the thing that ships is a compromise nobody chooses. I remove the handoff. I design the interface, then I build it, so what goes live is what was approved.

Embedded, full-time or part-time
Join your product team as design engineer. I own interface design and frontend delivery inside your sprint cadence and work directly with your backend engineers and PM. Frontend is built AI-first; architecture, review and accountability sit with me.

Design and build a defined thing: a marketing site, a dashboard, a mobile app version, a redesign. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, one point of contact from first wireframe to deployment. Best for: founders and teams with a clear deliverable and a date.

You already have Figma files. You need them in production without losing fidelity. I build the frontend, integrate with your API and deliver with an API contract, test scenarios and a go-live checklist. Best for: teams with a designer but no frontend capacity.

How I work
Understand
Understand users, constraints, what "done" means. I ask for the metric before I open Figma.
Design
Design high-fidelity screens, real states, real content. Prototyped for the flows that matter.
Build
Build production React, Next.js or React Native, built with AI against my own specs. I write the spec, direct the tools, review every change and own what merges. Same person, same decisions, no interpretation layer.
Ship
Ship delivered with an API contract, integration test scenarios and a go-live checklist your backend team can run.
Measure
Measure crash rates, ratings, conversion. I report what moved and what did not.
How I Build
I build with AI. Claude Code and Cursor write the code. I do not.
What I do instead is the part that decides whether the product works: I write the spec from my own designs, choose the architecture, direct the build, review every diff, debug what breaks, and sign off on what ships. The tools are fast. The judgement is mine.
This is not a shortcut I am hiding. It is why one person can take a rider app from Figma to a 100% production rollout with 53% fewer crashes, and why a founder gets a designer and a frontend build from one seat.
